Locals call it “Hero Snow” because it makes you look so good!! The mountain’s amazing 2,765 acres of skiable terrain make it the second biggest mountain in British Columbia. Big White’s abundant snowfall, mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine make it an ideal place for skiers of any level. Every night after the lifts close, our expert grooming team set out to deliver velvety swales of corduroy for your skiing pleasure. Big White was awarded “Best Grooming in the West” by Ski Canada Magazine. Skiing at Big White has become even better with last seasons' addition of six new runs at Gem Lake and the Cliff Chair. The Cliff Chair accesses Big White's famous "Cliff Area" leading to many untouched powder stashes.
